Get credit for your clean energy production
In some states, homeowners can participate in a net metering program with their utility. In this scenario, a net energy meter keeps track of the power your system produces. Any power you produce that you do not use goes back into the grid and you receive a credit. You can then use grid power when your system doesn’t meet your energy needs (ex. at night or on a cloudy day) and your utility will bill you the “net” consumption (usage - credits).
Giving back to the grid
Even after using grid-power, most solar homeowners have a positive credit with their utility and are putting much more power into the grid than they are taking out. Our certified solar partners can tell you if net metering is available in your area.
